FullSizeRender-006This month at Kindred Magazine, we return from last month’s wanderings, reflecting on the journeys we all make homeward. To return to anything is simultaneously familiar and surprising, for things are never just as we left them. We return to a truer version of ourselves, or remember our reasons for the life we’ve built. We return lost things to where they belong, or return again and again to a rhythm in which we find purpose.

Perhaps we, like Odysseus, return from long years at sea to find the journey has transpired more to change us than to bring us safely home. And like Odysseus, may the love lights always burn for us, guiding us safely into harbor, back to what is true where we began.
